This may seem like a strange topic in a book about choosing a POTUS. However, I think you will see how ignorant we all are regarding the manipulation and the methods of those who would steal (or have already stolen) the sovereignty of America. "Torture" is a red button word and internationalists understand, and use, it very well.
Current President Bush has been in opposition to the internationalists about "torture", and what we are doing in prisoner treatment in the war on terrorism. At least, the two major party candidates have come out very convincingly against "torture". I imagine the other small party candidates will do, or have done, the same. You almost certainly are against what you believe "torture" to be.
I would expect that the Republican candidate is against "torture" out of ignorance of what the term "torture" means to the internationalists. I would hope his position is not done with full understanding of the real international definition of "torture". Obama, on the other hand, may be ignorant, but he likely full well knows what the term means, as does the DNC.
But you are going to see that you have been deceived. The international anti-"torture" purveyors are internationalists of the first magnitude. They propound the demise of all nationalism, and very pointedly, that of a free America. They have used the red button word "torture" to declare that all nations, most significantly the United States, are subject to customary international law and have no choice but to follow it (it cannot be rejected) even to the destruction of America. Let me repeat that; no country can invoke torture (their meaning) even if failure to do so would result in the destruction of that country. This is an international law, in action, which we are forbidden by the internationalists to violate; even if it brings our demise.
Let me end this by saying, read this chapter. Let me give you a teaser and say that it is "torture", by international customary law, when not allowing conjugal visits to terrorist suspects held at Guantanamo. It is significant that a far left, "child of the world" has already had provided to him, by the internationalists, a template in place to "legally" move America across a very tiny little crack to a loss of sovereignty and its favored freedom, and to become a Marxist welfare state.
